MANDURAH BEANIE MUSTER What began as a Mother’s Day project for Year 8 students to make their Mum’s a beanie, has turned into an opportunity to help people in Mandurah who are feeling the cold.
The Year 8.1 class used their knitting machine during STEM to make scarves, beanies and a blanket – all for the people of Mandurah.
Last week they were very excited to attend the office of @Lisa Munday MLA to showcase and donate their creations to the Mandurah Beanie Muster, a project run by Soroptimist International Mandurah to collect warm beanies for the homeless.
Well done 8.1 class! We are extremely proud!
