At Halls Head College ESC we aim to develop a strong sense of belonging and school pride.
Our School Dress Code helps us to:
- Foster and enhance the public image of the school
- Assist in building school and team spirit
- Ensure student are safely dressed for specific school activities
- Enable teachers to quickly identify our own students from others, particularly on excursions
- Encourage equity among students
- Prepare students for work as many workplaces have dress and safety codes
School uniform is compulsory in all Government schools and our Dress Code is approved by our School Board.
Halls Head College Education Support Centre expects ALL students to wear the code of dress approved by the School Board.

There are some areas of the school where Health and Safety rules apply.
Requirements in these areas are:
Hair: must be tied back or covered appropriately for the area as indicated by the teacher.
Jewellery: no rings, necklaces, bracelets or dangling earrings that can become caught in moving machinery.
Shoes: must completely cover the feet (e.g. shoes or joggers).
Safety Glasses: will be supplied by the school where required and they must be worn.
