Online Career Conversations Events
As part of our Year 9 and 10 curriculum, we promote Career Pathways and Work Readiness.
In Year 9, students participate in Career Tasters, and in Year 10, students undertake Workplace Learning experiences.
To help support your child’s learning and future planning, we encourage you to attend one of the Career Conversations events listed below. These sessions are designed to help families identify suitable pathway options and support students in making a smoother transition into the workplace and post-school opportunities.
About the Event
The Career Conversations sessions are designed to support parents and carers to have informed discussions with their children about future pathways. The content covers a broad range of post-school options, including employment, training, apprenticeships and supported pathways, not solely academic or university pathways.
While the sessions are not tailored to individual learning needs, the information is intended to be relevant to families supporting young people with diverse strengths, interests and capabilities. The sessions may provide a helpful starting point for broader career and transition conversations at home.
