New Play Space Enhancements Thanks to Local Support
Halls Head College Education Support Centre is pleased to share the recent upgrade to our student play space, made possible through the generous support of Lisa Munday, MLA for Dawesville.

With this funding, we have installed a new softfall surface, a basket swing and a tunnel feature, enhancing both safety and accessibility across the area. These additions provide valuable opportunities for movement, sensory input and imaginative play — all of which are essential in supporting emotional regulation, social development and overall wellbeing.

The new softfall flooring ensures a safer and more inclusive environment, while the basket swing offers calming vestibular input and shared play opportunities. The tunnel encourages exploration, turn-taking and cooperative interaction, supporting students’ confidence and communication skills.

Outdoor spaces play an important role in our students’ learning journeys. These upgrades allow us to continue creating environments that support regulation, engagement and connection.
We sincerely thank Lisa Munday for her support of our school community and for investing in facilities that make a meaningful difference to our students every day.
