I warmly welcome you to Halls Head College Education Support Centre (HHC ESC)
Here at Halls Head College ESC, we strive to build a culture and community in which our students, staff and families always feel safe, heard, and valued.
We love to see everyone with a smile on their face, as our students and staff succeed within an environment that fosters and encourages independence, resilience, empowerment and celebrates diversity.
We learn with hands and heart and understand everyone’s learning journey is as unique as they are. We encourage everyone to own your own journey and offer personal learning plans and pathways to ensure each and every student will progress, purposefully towards their own potential.
Our students all have a broad range of curriculum opportunities with shared access to the Halls Head College classes and facilities, our very own purpose-built Life Skills Centre, Powered Shed, Tree Growing Nursery, Vegetable Gardens, Worm Farms, Chickens and Year 10 Seniors Room.
As good as the facilities and programs are, it is our staff and our educational philosophy that makes us an exceptional school. Through open and growth led communication we cater for our students’ social, academic and pastoral care, utilising key teachers and mentors to develop nurturing relationships.
With a strong emphasis on the strengths and abilities of our students. We like to acknowledge what the student is able to do and then build on this to ensure goals are achieved and independence is fostered. We strengthen community connections by developing and nurturing partnerships within our local community, to create further opportunities for our students.
With great staff, a dedicated and supportive school board, strong parent, and wide community support, our distinctive school is well placed to ensure that all our students, with all their diversity, will be successful learners and active citizens of our local community.
Please take a minute to enjoy our website and social media accounts to see how at HHC ESC we celebrate the small things; go nuts about the big!
